Hi there.....Even I want to find out if I-131 (AP) can be RENEWED without paying the fee when I-485 has been filed with the new fee structure. The USCIS site has not mentioned anything regarding the renewal fee for I-131 in this case (whereas it is clearly mentioned for the EAD). Is there anyone who can share his/her experience of AP renewal without paying the fee?

I entered U.S with B1/B2 visa and got changed into F1 status. While F1 status got approved
I departed U.S due to family matter.
Now I'd like to make it sure that my B1/B2 visa is still valid,because I plan to visit to my friend who lives in U.S.
How to check my B1/B2 visa could be remained still valid?
Or does somebody know anybody who had been in same situation?

With my knowledge, I don't think your current salary should matter for the future employement. But it shouldn't be grossly differrent. One of my friend got his GC approved with H1B salary less than salary mentioned in I140. What I would like to say is not worry to about it much until your attorney says it is a problem.

I received an email alert regarding "Notice returned undeliverable" yesterday...but the message says notice was returned on Nov 5, 2007. Why did the status change occur so late? Should I be concerned?

Please be aware that W2s at 140 stage are mainly asked to judge the "ability to pay" of the employer. There can be other reasons too.

I recently received an RFE - I 140 and USCIS is asking for all the W-2's from 2004 - till date as i came to U.S.A in November 2004. I got my SSN in Jan ' 2005 and i have all the W-2's from 2005. I am currently unable to understand what to do in this situation. Did anyone had the same problem like me. Please shed your thoughts on this. :confused: :mad:

I am currently on H1B visa which will expire next year ie Nov2011. My employer just stated that due to economic conditions, they will not be able to file my GC.
My husbands company has already started his GC process ( his labor n I140 is done)but my name isnt on his application yet. We are waiting for the date to become current n then my name can be added on is 485 application as his dependent. His PD is Aug 08.
Basically I was interested in knowing abt future based employment GC. Has anyone done that before?
Is anyone aware of companies who would be interested in doing it. I just need to buy like max 2-3 years ....just to keep my H1B extensions going. I like my current job so really want to avoid changing it unless there r no other options left basically.
Pls suggest me options that I have to get H1B extension after Nov 2011 and continue working.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
