IMHO, Any one will not get the accent because of training. One will come closer to the accent only over time. How ever, it will never be perfect.
On the flip side, why would any Highly Skilled Immigrant working in American companies want to learn "accent" off of work. Their work place offers a lot than the website suggested.

Is VFS the only site to book appointments (for HYD) as well ? I hear the news that HYD is operational but I don't see it in on VFS website to take an appointment - I need one for 1st week of Dec
I beleive the Hyderabad Consulate will be fully functional only by the end of 2008. So we can assume that it starts offering visa services in early 2009. Until then the web site suggests to go to Chennai Consulate.

Do they assume that if you are in 7th year you can use your labor which you used for H1 7th year extension.
what about if i140 is denied on the previous labor and one cannot use that labor any more.

Did they issue your EAD from the time the previous one expired or from the current date. If current date, you'd have lost about 3 months or validity.
Some people I know got EADs from the next day following the expiration of their current EAD. I however got from approval date. Its all so inconsistent.

Hi ,
Here is the scenario:
-- My AP expires in Dec'08 ( Applied for extension and waiting..)
-- H1 in Apr'09.
If I go to India say in Nov'08 and come back to US before the AP expiry using AP document (without going for H1 stamping as my visit is very short). What would be the I-94 expiry date ? Would it be Same as AP expiry (Dec'08) ?
Assuming I haven't received my new AP even in Dec'08, will I be out of status once my AP is expired ?
Please advice.

I got email notification on June 26 as approved and we will mail it to you.
After 2 days lated my attorny told me that he got that letter, he send to me by email as pdf file.
I have a question the letter attorny got is pdf file or original by mail(post).
Who will get the I -140 aaproval original letter?

It is a bad idea. It will allow people to misuse it. Once they are pre-approved they may not care about staying in status. They will not change jobs in their area of work. You may find an engineer doing some other profession. How will something like this help USA. We should stop seeing everything from - How it will help me. I was also tested possitive due to vaccination in India. did the skin test and X-ray. I talked to my family Dr.(and couple of my Dr. Freinds.) and they all told me that my body will allways react to this test due to vaccination and if X-ray is fine we do not need any medication. In US all the Dr. has to get the test once a year and those vaccinated in their native country has to get an X-ray to confirm it as the test is allways possitive for them.
I would say Consult another Dr. just to be sure.

Thank you for your good wishes. However, I encourage you to look around the forum a bit, and see for yourself where you stand in line. I reckon there are tens of thousands of people from India waiting in line in your category - and they give out a generous three thousand every year in your category (including dependents)
At this rate - there is no chance in hell you will get lucky this year, or next year, or for several years after that.
I will see you next year - till then sweet dreams :)

But the ground reality is that there just aren't enough green cards given out in the EB category. The EAD has some advantages, but for how long would you like to live in a state of limbo? My sincere unsolicited advice to you is to start the process in the last couple of years of your H-1B. Till then, expand your experiences, change jobs, and climb up the corporate ladder. Do not get stuck. You may not be aware, but if your I-140 is approved, you can get your H-1B extended in 3 year increments if your PD is not current. Don't be in a hurry to get the GC, because the govt. is clearly not in a hurry to give you one out to you.
When someone uses phrases like "being optimistic is better than nothing", it really gets me because doing nothing is going to get you just that - nothing.
